There are many benefits to singing together, for health and wellbeing and friendship. If you’ve been listening to our choirs and would like to get involved, you’ll find details below about where to find them and when they meet to rehearse together.
Since we’ve been on air, one choir, The Eagley Singers, has disbanded. Another, The Edgworth Village Choir, is being revived, with a taster session for potential members at The Barlow on September 1st 2026 at 6.30pm.
A third group, the men’s barbershop chorus Cottontown, has announced plans to form a new barbershop choir for women. They’re inviting women and men who are interested in barbershop singing to an open evening at Turton High School at 7.30pm on September 15th 2026.
All the choirs on our list are friendly and welcoming. They’d love to hear from you and welcome you to a rehearsal.
