Last weekend's Ironman and Ironkids events were great fun! Around 2,000 competitors swam, cycled and ran their way to the title ofIronman, covering a total distance of 123.6 miles. Volunteers are very important to us, and we want to hear from you ifyou'd be interested in giving some of your spare time to help us. As well as being part of broadcast teams, there is plenty of workneeding doing behind the scenes to make sure Bolton FM continues to be asuccessful radio station run by our great community, from admin, newsreading, fundraising, interviewing, outside broadcasting, graphic designto studio and volunteer support. You can dedicate anything from one hour up to an entire day towards yourvoluntary work at our award-winning community radio station.
