Steering group

Bolton FM runs a steering group made up of representatives of community and voluntary organisations and individual volunteers from across Bolton. The group works with the management board of Bolton FM in all areas of work to ensure that the voice of the community is central to all of the station’s output and its day-to-day operations. Membership of the group gives you or your organisation a strong opportunity to make sure that Bolton FM recognises, serves and involves those members of community you represent and their interests. If you would like your organisation to be represented on our steering group or feel you can contribute as an individual, please fill in the volunteer application form, highlighting the relevant option.

Please note that although as many members as possible are accommodated, spaces on the steering group are limited and so the basic selection criteria on the volunteer application will be used to aid selection when necessary (for instance, representatives of a community group may take priority over an individual).
