As part of our tenth anniversary year Bolton FM is supporting Bolton Hospice in their fundraising activities even more than we normally do--which is a lot.
Our Business Development Manager Keith Harris is taking part in The Biggest Loser. The Biggest Loser is all about losing the greatest percentage body fat loss, rather than the most pounds lost. _The Biggest Loser_ takes place over 12 weeks and two-thirds of the way through the challenge Keith has lost 38lbs.
You can learn how Keith is doing, and how to support him, by tuning in to the Mid-morning Show with Andrew and Phil every Friday from 9am.
The grand final of Bolton Hospice's Strictly Learn to Dance 2019 is set for Saturday 30th March at the University of Bolton Stadium where the finalists will put 3 months of dance practice and fundraising into action! This year Bolton FM's Vicky Hawksworth will be waltzing, jiving and quickstepping her way around the ballroom floor hoping to be crowned as this year's winner. You can find out how Vicky is doing in the build up to the final by tuning in to her show on Sunday afternoon from 3pm.
Bolton FM will also be master of ceremonies for a boxing gala at Farnworth Social Circle Cricket Club at the end of May. This charity event is being organised to raise money for Bolton Hospice and the junior section at Farnworth Social Circle. Participation is open to everyone, but you must under go medical checks and commit to a training programme before climbing in to the ring at the outdoor event at the cricket club on May 26 when you're able to put what you've learned into
Anyone who wants to be one of the boxers at the event should call Glen McGreavy on 07973 831422.
