How was your Bank Holiday weekend?

Posted on Thursday 31 May 2018 by James Pilkington

I spent a good portion of it skipping through the telly channels looking for a Bank Holiday epic, but found none.  This was in an effort to keep out of the sun and keep cool.

Bolton FM was never far from my mind however as our station voice is also the voice for a few national brands and he was being quite vocal about sofas.

It is getting busy in the Bolton FM studios. This Saturday we're supporting "Get Involved Bolton!" an event designed to showcase and
celebrate volunteering in Bolton. We'll be there at the Market Place with Bolton CVS and lots of other community and voluntary organisations.

Bolton's biggest fundraiser Bolton Hospice's Midnight Memories is not too far away. The Midnight Memories Walk takes place on 16 June 2018 and our sofas currently have all manner of equipment on them as we prepare for these events.

The Midnight Memories Walk is an 8-mile sponsored walk to raise money for Bolton Hospice. You can walk in memory of a loved one, to support the hospice or as a survivor of a life-limiting illness. Bolton Hospice needs to raise £3.4 million every year to continue to provide free expert care and support for local people with terminal and life-limiting illnesses and thanks to your fundraising, we can keep helping families at the most difficult time of their lives.

We've installed a dedication and request line, if you would like to make a dedication or song request please call 0345 3110 965.
