Most of the action takes place online in this country we are choosing to bargain hunt from under the duvet on our phones and laptops rather than queueing up outside stores in the early hours.

So while you're purchasing in your pyjamas put your radio on and tune in to Bolton FM. You might just here some of these songs about shopping and money:

Price Tag - Jessie J

Bills - Lunchmoney Lewis

Don't Let Your Eyes Go Shopping - Nat King Cole

Money for Nothing - Dire Straits

Money's Too Tight to Mention - Simply Red

I've Got Money - James Brown

Greenbacks - Ray Charles

P Diddy (Featuring Lil' Kim, The Lox, and the Notorious B.I.G.): It's All About the Benjamins

Black Friday is often the day shops 'move into the black' - meaning they have enough money to cover their costs. Cyber Monday is another sales day to look out for. In the UK, it's considered to be one of the biggest internet shopping days of the year, as retailers pack their websites with oodles of offers.

Both days might get you bargains for Christmas but be mindful of that Nat King Cole trio song - "After you get what you want, you don't want it".

I never did use that beard-comb and I don't know what to do with these fifteen Christmas music CD's.
